Ilia Rosli

Through an intimate interaction with materials, notions of duality, belonging, and identity are motivated by a mixed Australian / Malaysian heritage and upbringing. Paring down formal decision making with imaginative play, I have a fluid approach to multi-disciplinary practice that spans installation, sculpture, collage and creative writing. Having moved to Melbourne to take on a Bachelor of Fine Art at the VCA, I am now about to take on a year in Honours. I have exhibited in various groups shows at the Margaret Lawrence Gallery, George Paton Gallery and Platform.
